FISH Food Pantry

Working with the Department of Social Services, Grace Lutheran's FISH Food Pantry has been providing food assistance to residents of Charles County for over 30 years. Non-perishable items are donated by members and other local organizations and collected as chapel offering by students of Grace Lutheran School. When requested, the FISH Food Pantry provides 3 meals a day for 3 days for each person in the home.

MaryAnne's Blessing Bags

Began in memory of MaryAnne Lenker, these blessing bags contain a small amount of food and toiletries and are given to those in need who stop by the church.

SHARE Food Network

The SHARE Food Network is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to offering healthy, nutritious groceries at roughly a 50% discount. Monthly value packages cost $23 and include $40-45 worth of basic and healthy groceries: 4-6 lbs of frozen proteins and 8-12 lbs of fresh fruits and veggies. Seasonal and special packages are also available.

SHARE accepts organizational or business checks, credit and debit cards, DBT/SNAP benefits, money orders, and gift certificates.

Southern Maryland Mobile Compassion Center

The Southern Maryland Mobile Compassion Center (SMCC) is a partnership with the Lutheran Mission Society and and provides low-cost clothing, household items, and other necessities to the community. As its name indicates, the SMCC is able to extend its services by traveling and spending a week at other Lutheran churches in the Southern Maryland area.
